Whitelands was a prestigious one-off new build. Alpine was commissioned to do various metal work including steel staircases, balustrades, feature panels, swimming pool feature panels, to name but a few. It required a mix of stainless steel and mild steel to meet the designer’s requirements.

The main challenge was to ensure all the metal work was designed with no visible connections, due to some of the work being near a swimming pool. Various finishes and materials were chosen to ensure there was no corrosion. In some areas the steel work had to be minimalistic but with a natural feel and this is a style Alpine specialises in producing.
