Bespoke Helical Floating Staircase

This was a house project which involved a sizeable renovation and extension. The owners wished to modernise their home with a contemporary style. Central to this restyling was a feature staircase, to be placed in an area with limited space to work within.

We formed the spine to the staircase out of sections to get it around a corner. This curving effect was accomplished by our team of highly skilled fabricators.

The team worked with a very limited sketch from the architect which we were tasked to develop, to make it workable. This was not something to experiment with and having the knowledge and expertise to do it right first time is essential. We understood the laws of minimum flex and bounce and with real expertise designed this amazing modern floating staircase effect, with our bespoke crafted central spine holding it together.
