Balustrades • Handrails

We were approached by an architect who had heard of our blacksmith capabilities and wanted to use us to produce a balustrade for a new build residential property. We provided numerous samples and the design took shape.

We had to survey the staircase and adjust the design to meet the staircase rise, whilst ensuring it met building control regulations. Every item on this balustrade was hand forged in our workshops. The feature rose had to be gold-leaf for that extra ‘wow’ factor. We also supplied the timber handrails and French polished them to complete the impression.
