We fitted out an existing building. An important element of this project was creating a glass balustrade. Central London presented a challenging location for access, but this is something we were used to handling. We used a crane for access and provided special lifted cradles for the crane to hoist materials onto the roof. First, however, we had to form structural steelwork on the roof to raise the level of the glass balustrade, due to different levels of the roof. This was a unique application of structural glass, where we had to raise it above the existing roof to the new floor level.

On the same project we provided internal staircases and balustrades. Due to lead times we had multiple teams on site, to meet strict deadlines.
